MARK CIPOLLONE
Marks passion for dance and performing started at an early age where he performed on numerous occasions alongside his twin brother and twin sisters. He then went on to study with a 2-year scholarship at the Dance Factory and upon completing his diploma was offered a contract at Tokyo Disneyland. He has also trained at National Institute of Circus Arts (NICA) and at The Victorian College of the Arts (VCA) – classical guitar.
Mark’s dance/TV credits include contracts with Norwegian Cruise Lines, Ignitethe Dark (MDC) – I am Harlequin, Australian and Abu Dhabi tours of ‘Hello MusicLand’ and ’Hairy Maclary’ – the musical. Carla Cametti PD (Mini Series). Episodes for ‘Winners and Losers’ and ‘The Footy Show’. Mark has also appeared as adancer in TVC’s for Fox8 ‘Fame - The Ultimate School Musical’, ‘Honda’, ‘Coles’,‘Chemist Warehouse’ and ‘Bertolli’.He has Directed/Choreographed: the stage production of ‘Pandora’s Dolls’,runway/model shows including the ‘HBIA Awards’ for Victoria University,French embassy, Bar20 and Masters of Choreography - Ringmaster. He has been audition choreographer for ‘Bananas in Pajamas - Giggle N Hoot’ and resident choreographer for numerous clubs through ‘Blue After Glow Productions’ and‘House of Burlesque’. Mark has gained extensive knowledge in all facets of performing which has led him to adjudicate everything from voice, children’s theatre and dance for companies such as ‘Foxtel - Masters Dance Awards’, ‘ATOD’ – Troupe Comp and Contemporary championships, Tasmanian ‘CSDC Solo/Duo competitions’, ‘StageDoor - Junior Starz Awards’, ‘Stage Attack’ and in almost every major city throughout Australia with ‘JUMP Dance Challenge’.
Over the past 15 years Mark has been guest teaching and Choreographing for many reputable companies and schools around Australia and Abroad. As well as teaching in Melbourne, he held a weekly position on the faculty at Centre StageDance Company and Hobart Dance Academy in Tasmania for 8 years. He is thrilled and humbled to be able to share his knowledge with you and the next generation of performers!
